MASATAKA CONTEMPORARY was launched in January 2013. Our mission is to introduce and encourage emerging talents that we felt in love with. We explore artists and their work across various media that meet our two criteria; creativity and independence.
Date : Mar. 26 (Sat) ~ Apr. 23 (Sat), 2016
Open : From Tue. to Sat. , 11am to 7pm (Close on Sun., Mon., and national holidays)
Opening Reception : Mar. 26 (Sat) 5pm ~ 7pm
In Tokyo, we don’t have an opportunity to see works of artists that are active in except the Kanto region very often,
so I would like to introduce their wonderful and interesting works.
We invited 2 artists born in Western Japan to “From West” and 3 artists born in Northern Japan to “From North”.
The exhibitions are named “New Artists’ Exhibition”, but the good quality and charms are beyond “New Artists”.
Hope you enjoy a good chance!
