MASATAKA CONTEMPORARY was launched in January 2013. Our mission is to introduce and encourage emerging talents that we felt in love with. We explore artists and their work across various media that meet our two criteria; creativity and independence.
“SIX SENSES”
CORRIDOR GALLERY 34
The “sixth sense,” such as the artist’s obsessions and convictions, are the mental function and inspiration that sharply grasp the essence of things, are also essential elements in the creation of each artwork. Please enjoy the artworks created by “6 female artists,” “6 personalities,” and “6 senses,” whose techniques, motifs, concepts, and styles are completely different from each other and difficult to be explained in words.

PARK HOTEL TOKYO & CORRIDOR GALLERY
Park Hotel Tokyo is exploring the concept of “Infinite Time and Space Amid Cognizant Japanese Beauty” and engaging in a variety of activities to help our guests further experience the appeal of Japan and Japanese culture through the medium of art.
As part of our efforts, we have established the “Corridor Gallery”, an exhibition space in which guests can stroll through corridors and look at pieces of art as they might at an art museum. Set in the corridors of floors from 26 to 34, the space plays on the theme “Art for all” and reflects the hotel’s desire for people to feel art more closely.
